Meet Mo Herieka
Mr Mo Herieka is a UK-trained Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a specialist interest in aesthetic breast and body surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was awarded the prestigious Ian McGregor Medal for outstanding performance in the FRCS (Plastic Surgery) examination, recognising him as the highest-performing candidate across Great Britain and Ireland.
He is listed on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and is a member of both the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He has undertaken advanced fellowship training in both aesthetic surgery and microsurgery.
Alongside his private cosmetic practice, Mo maintains a busy NHS consultant role with a particular focus on complex breast reconstruction. His experience spans microsurgical reconstruction using abdominal and thigh-based tissue, implant-based breast reconstruction, breast reduction, correction of breast asymmetry, liposuction and fat transfer, as well as a broad range of general plastic surgery.
This extensive reconstructive background gives him a detailed understanding of breast anatomy, proportion and soft-tissue behaviour, which he brings to every aesthetic consultation. His approach is warm, thoughtful and highly individualised, combining careful surgical planning with contemporary techniques to achieve results that are natural, proportionate and appropriate for each patient.
Outside medicine, Mo enjoys spending time with his young family, keeping active through regular training and exercise, and travelling whenever the opportunity allows.
